One day I will live within walking distance of a beach. It makes no difference to me if it's cool & rocky like we have here in the Pacific Northwest, a tropical locale with smooth white sand & crystal blue water, or a popular beach in California like the photo above. Ok, what I'm really after (besides the crashing waves & saltwater air), is that sense of well-being that seems to settle over ocean-side towns. Have you noticed how instead of rushing around, people in beach towns actually stroll? Not just people on vacation either - locals seem to have permanently changed their pace. My only concern is that it would be difficult to get any work done. I'm willing to test it out though.
P.S. The photo is of Laguna Beach where we spent this past weekend. It was hazy California perfection to say the least.
