Have you ever had a friend or colleague whose creativity, positivity, and encouragement lights a fire under your butt and makes you more creatively productive than you ever thought possible? Over the last few years, Tristan of Besotted and I have collaborated on a number of ambitious projects, each larger and more complex than the next. In our meetings, ideas zing back and forth like creative ping pong, and before we know it, a new project has taken shape. We've taught photography classes online, written an ebook (while teaching a class online, which was quite a feat!), we have teamed up as photographer and stylist on multiple photo shoots including a book cover, and believe me - we are just getting started.
When Tristan invited me to partner with her on Besotted Blog, I have to tell you - my first response was sheer terror. Tristan has a smart and loyal audience that she respects and adores, many have turned into personal friends. What would they think if I started adding my 2 cents to their beloved space, would they run screaming from my writing, or riot in the (virtual) streets? So far these fears have not been validated (thank goodness), and I have even received some much appreciated kind comments, so I am excited to move forward with more confidence in my writing and bushels of ideas to share.
So, this humble space will now be reserved for the occasional announcement regarding my photography projects, and maybe a special announcement for yet another massive project Tristan and I are working on. For juicy articles on photography, graphic design, and other interests, pop on over to Besotted and say hi! To get you started, here are a few posts that I am especially happy to have contributed:
